Red Carpet Country is a regional tourism organization representing 16 counties in Northwest and North Central Oklahoma. The association is the leading source of travel information for this distinct region of the state boasting friendly communities, unique events, and abundant natural resources. This year, Alva has the honor of hosting the Red Carpet Country Annual Tourism Conference in partnership with the Alva Chamber of Commerce at Northwestern Oklahoma State University.
On Tuesday, August 23 in Alva, over 100 professionals will gather in the ballroom at NWOSU campus to hear destination marketing and travel industry experts like Mick Cornett, Katie Ritchie, and Stan Clark speak about bringing tourism to our area. This day-long conference provides lots of tips and marketing strategies for increasing visitors in northwest Oklahoma.
Everyone who is involved in the travel industry is invited to attend this conference. Communities and tourism -related businesses in Red Carpet Country are invited to bring a display to promote an attraction, business or event during the Annual Tourism Conference.
