There are so many fantastic fall events coming up in our community. Each event has the potential to bring in visitors to our city, boosting our local businesses. Be sure to save/download the October Upcoming Events image in this email so you're sure to not miss anything!
We have compiled the TOP 5 OCTOBER EVENTS in Alva as a quick run-down of Alva's fall activities:
October 1: Alva Mural Society's Northwest Mural Fest - 4 contemporary mural artists will be painting 4 new murals in Alva. A 5K Fun Run will start at 8AM on the downtown square.
October 7: First Friday Art Walk - From 6-8PM, check out the new exhibit at Graceful Arts and visit other downtown businesses open late.
October 14: BancCentral Fall Fest - From 3-8PM, lots of vendors and activities for kids will be set up on the downtown square.
October 27: Northwest Family Services Fall Fling Fundraiser - From 5:00-7:30PM, Alva retail businesses will be open late serving appetizers as part of a progressive meal. Proceeds from tickets go to Northwest Family Services.
October 30: Trunk-or-Treat sponsored by Alva Churches on College St. - From 4:30-6:00PM, College St. will be blocked off for children to trick-or-treat in a fun and safe environment. Happy Halloween!
