Leadership Northwest Oklahoma Program Accepting Applications


by Emma Cline Leadership Northwest Oklahoma is a leadership program established in 2009 with the purpose of providing opportunities for citizens of Woods and Alfalfa counties to be better prepared for leadership roles within their communities, civic organizations, and careers. Participants will engage in a series of experiences, forums, and presentations with such topics as Arts and Culture, Tourism, Education and Health, and Agriculture/Energy. This year’s program will begin in September 2022 and continue once a month through May 2023. Any individual who wishes to participate in Leadership Northwest Oklahoma can apply for consideration to the Alva Area Chamber of Commerce by 4:00 p.m. on September 15, 2022. Class size is limited, and applications will be considered on a first come first served basis. Inclusion in Leadership Northwest Oklahoma requires a 9-month commitment by members to fully participate in each monthly session of the program.
