| Sod House Museum is the only actual sod house still standing that was built by a homesteader. Built in 1894, the house was acquired by the Oklahoma Historical Society in 1963. They have preserved and restored it to the original condition. It is located 21 miles south of Cherokee. (580) 463-2441 |
