The Alva area has many things to see and do. On behalf of the Alva Area Chamber of Commerce, welcome to our city. Alva is a progressive community of 5,500 people in northwest Oklahoma. It is home to Northwestern Oklahoma State University, a four-year regional university, and has an outstanding public school system, as well as vocational training programs.
