There's nothing like sporting events to draw a community together. Athletic events of the high school and college give sports fans a chance to cheer on their favorite teams in several different sports, such as football, basketball, baseball, softball, track, cross country, and tennis. Whether spectator or participant, high school or city recreation, the people of Alva are involved in all types of sporting events and activities held in the area.
